Overview of the CNC Roll System

The CNC system provides real-time monitoring of the rolling process, calculation, editing, storage of cylinder rolling process parameters, data transmission, and power failure memory functions. The human-machine interface displays information in Chinese for clear and intuitive understanding.

Real-time Monitoring Function

The computer screen displays the vertical displacement of the upper roll main cylinder, the horizontal movement of the lower roll, the pressing force of the upper roll, and visually shows the real-time status, relative positions, and hydraulic solenoid valve output status during the lifting/lowering of the upper roll, horizontal movement of the lower roll, and tilting frame actions.

Roll forming process parameter calculation function

By entering the product’s plate thickness, plate width, roll diameter, plate yield strength, and straight edge coefficient via the system keyboard, the system outputs the required process parameters for roll forming the plate: upper roll pressing force, lower roll horizontal movement, and upper roll lifting.The computer confirms whether the load on the rolled product is overloaded and automatically sets the process parameters, achieving numerical control of the upper roll’s vertical movement and the lower roll’s horizontal movement.

Parameter editing and storage function

According to the requirements of the rolled product, the operator can edit process parameters or call up established process parameters, and store parameters for different workpieces; the operator can retrieve the stored data from the library and use it in the program control window at any time.

Human-machine interface functionality

Through touchscreen input and display, the system enables the input, editing, calculation, modification, and storage of rolled workpiece parameters. The system stores process data in the system memory in menu format. When users access the system, they can retrieve the corresponding menu to obtain the rolling parameters for the specific workpiece. If parameters are modified without data processing, a prompt will appear when exiting parameter settings.

The computer automatically detects the positions of the upper and lower rollers at both ends based on the set parameters and controls them to ensure synchronization accuracy of ±0.20 mm. The displacement sensor has a displacement resolution of 0.05 mm and a display accuracy of ±0.05 mm. It features automatic fault diagnosis functionality. It also includes soft limit protection for all components.
