New Bluetooth® Technology for Renishaw’s QC20 Ballbar Enhances Machine Tool Performance Diagnostics
Building on the success of the QC20-W ballbar system, Renishaw has designed a new generation of QC20 ballbars to meet the needs of the modern job shop.
The new Renishaw QC20 ballbar provides a faster, simpler and more efficient way to machine performance monitor . The QC20 ballbar is fully compatible with existing QC20-W programs and processes, making it easy for users to easily maintain and improve the ballbar’s measurement performance.
The QC20 ballbar utilizes new low-power Bluetooth (BLE) technology to quickly establish a reliable wireless connection with your computer. This powerful Bluetooth technology also helps the QC20 ballbar achieve excellent power efficiency and long battery life.
Ballbar testing is a simple and quick way to check that the positional performance of CNC machine tools meets recognized international standards. Users can benchmark and track machine performance and quickly diagnose machine problems and the sources of error that cause them.
