2.1 Metal Cutting and Forming Tools
Production of metal cutting machine tools reached 103,000 units, up 14.4% YoY. Metal forming machine tools totaled 23,000 units, a 15% increase from the previous year, showing strong demand in the manufacturing sector.
3. Automotive and Robotics Output
Automobile production reached 4.454 million units, representing a 13.9% YoY growth. Industrial robots saw significant growth, totaling 91,088 sets with a 27% increase, reflecting strong trends in automation and intelligent manufacturing.
4. Ferrous Metal Production
Pig iron and crude steel both experienced slight declines of 0.5% and 1.5% respectively, while steel products increased by 4.7%. Notably, rebar and wire rods showed YoY decreases of 7.5% and 1.1%. However, cold rolled sheets (+13.1%) and welded steel pipes (+16.5%) posted strong growth.
5. Non-Ferrous Metals and Alloys
Production of alumina, aluminum alloy, and refined copper showed strong performance with double-digit or high single-digit growth. Zinc, on the other hand, declined by 6.8%. The category of ‘Ten Non-Ferrous Metals’ showed modest growth at 1.4%.
