Due to the larger diameter of the grinding wheel, segmented grinding wheels are commonly used. This design ensures that coolant can penetrate the cutting zone efficiently, preventing wheel clogging. Vertical spindle grinders are particularly suitable for batch production and offer higher productivity, making them an ideal choice for applications requiring high output.
